Professor (Life Sciences), Manipur University Professor + Head, Manipur University Professor (Higher Academic Grade), Manipur University Dean, School of Life Sciences, Manipur University Vice-Chancellor, Bir Tikendrajit University, Imphal Awards/Honours: Participated in the INDO-USSR Cultural Exchange Programme as a visiting scientist at the All Union Institute of Plant Protection, Leningrad (now St. Petersburg, Russia). Received the INSA Visiting Scientist Travel Grant. Honored with the Lifetime Achievement Award by the Indian Aerobiological Society (IAS) in recognition of his significant contributions to Indian Aerobiology, particularly in Northeast India. Awarded the 11th Sir E.J. Butler Memorial Lecture by the Indian Mycological Society, Kolkata. Recognized with the 3rd Prof. S. Chanda Memorial Lecture by the Indian Aerobiological Society, Kolkata. Delivered a Keynote Address on "Detection and Recognition of Airborne Pollen Grains and Fungal Spores using Artificial Intelligence" during the 22nd NCIAS-2022 at Hotel Taj Patil, Nanded (M.S.).
